PGI was recently awarded a contract to design and fabricate a Gas Dehydration package for ONGC's ICP-R platform, by Afcons-Gunanusa.

The EPC contract for the new ICP-R Process Platform (to be located offshore India), was awarded to Afcons – Gunanusa by ONGC, with Aker Solutions Malaysia as the Engineering Contractor.

Design, project management and fabrication will be carried out at PGI's Abu Dhabi facilities, with delivery of the completed package slated for 2010.

PGI's General Manager, Mr Barry Graham said "We have worked hard in recent years to show that we have the capability to be accepted onto these clients’ approved Vendor lists. This is the second recent contract for supply to ONGC and indicates that we are recognised as having the technology and expertise to design and deliver a range of process equipment. 

This project award builds on utilising our well established UAE engineering and fabrication facilities and manpower resources."
