PGI is pleased to announce that the Abu Dhabi facility has been approved as an ASME, Section VIII, Division 1 fabrication workshop, and is now able to manufacture "U" Stamp pressure vessels.
This approval continues the successful expansion of capabilities of the business in Abu Dhabi, and is well timed to coincide with the construction of a new dedicated Pressure vessel fabrication workshop. This will allow PGI to undertake the fabrication of pressure vessels for the following specific applications:
- 2 & 3 Phase Production Separators,
- Well Test Separators,
- Dehydrators & Desalters,
- Induced Gas Floatation units,
- Gas Scrubbers & Cyclone separators,
- KO Drums,
- Slug Catchers,
- Packed or Trayed Columns,
- Filter Coalescers,
- Etc.
Material of fabrication include:
- Carbon Steel,
- Low Temperature Carbon Steel,
- Stainless Steels,
- Duplex Stainless Steels,
- Etc.
The new workshop will allow ASME U Stamp vessels being designed and built by PGI for their overall equipment packages, to be handled at the same facility. This will provide a better means to oversee and manage the fabrication of the entire packages and will assist in meeting more timely delivery schedules. This new facility comprises a new 2500 m2 covered facility with 2 x 10 Ton overhead cranes, submerged arc machines and 20 manual welding stations. Production Capacity of pressure vessels will be around 1000 Tons per annum.
