PGI/Euromechanical Open New Workshop

PGI/Euromechanical opens their new pressure vessel workshop. This dedicated facility is to be utilized for building pressure vessels that PGI required for the increasing number of projects being undertaken.

Mr Barry Graham, General Manager of PGI reported “This new facility will help to reduce the frustrating delays that we have been seeing in recent times, and give us more control over our projects where pressure vessels are a critical part. This is becoming increasingly important for us as we have expanded our capabilities and resources to take on more complex and challenging projects.”

The new 18 x 60M bay has 2 x 10T overhead cranes, Submerged arc welding machines and provision for up to 20 manual welding stations.

This new facility is capable of manufacturing ASME coded pressure vessels up to 65mm wall thickness, in addition to PD-5500 and AWS-1210 coded Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers.
