Process Group International (PGI) have just been awarded the gas turbine fuel gas system for the Aweer station ‘H’, phase 3 power station in Dubai, UAE. This follows the recent successful completion of the US$11.5mm order for the fuel gas system for Jebel Ali L phase 2 Power Station in Dubai.
PGI are the Middle Eastern Arm of Process Group Pty Ltd, Australia, a leading supplier of engineered process equipment packages for Oil, Gas, & Water Treatment packages for more than 25 years.
PGI have an alliance with Abu Dhabi company - Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contractors - and are jointly operating a new 14,000 m2 workshop facility in the new Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD). PGI plans to build the equipment packages for the Aweer Station ‘H’ power station at this facility. This facility combines all Sales, Engineering, Design, Fabrication and Procurement on the one site, which provides all facets of project management on one site.
Barry Graham (PGI General Manager) commented that “this order consolidates the company’s position as a leading Middle East supplier of Process Equipment packages. This new Order also confirms the belief that we had in establishing a complete Sales-Engineering-Design-Fabrication facility on one site, which allows us to provide a better managed supply of specialized process equipment packages.”
Process Group have enjoyed considerable success in the Middle Eastern Market with over $30 million of sales, and over 1000 Tons of fabrication passing through the Mussafah workshop in less than 12 months of operation. Euro Mechanical have demonstrated tremendous ‘vision’ in agreeing to construct the new workshop facility and have provided solid support to PGI. Euro Mechanical now plans to proceed with the phase II extension of the workshop facility to include ASME V111 coded pressure vessels.
